The power output is low, maybe 5v 0,4a at max



It is a 15v panel (30 solar cells chained), the voltage converter do not hold the mpp on the high side.

So you cant have power gain from the higher panel voltage, because the converter electronics brings the panel voltage down to 5v when in use.



The srews are under the label of the electronics box. You cold rip it apart and connect it to an cn3791 mpp module, but need to change the voltage setting of this (by changing resistor on the pcb) to have the mpp point at 12.5 to 13v. Get the output doubled. Even with "12v cn3791" (mpp voltaghe like 10.8v) as it is you get some more power out of this.
